These terms govern bookings and stays at Kua Finca Río La Miel ("Kua"), located in Norcasia, Caldas, Colombia. Colombian National Tourism Registry: RNT 287757.
1. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed through the process agreed on WhatsApp or through Booking.com or Airbnb, depending on the channel used. The estate is rented in full to a single group per stay.
2. Prices and deposits
Current prices and payment conditions are shared directly by WhatsApp or on the booking platforms. A deposit may be requested to confirm dates.
3. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation policies are communicated at the time of booking. Bookings made through Booking.com or Airbnb follow the specific policies of each platform.
4. Arrival and transfers
The final part of the journey is by boat. For navigation safety we do not run transfers after 6:00 p.m. Times and transfers may be adjusted based on weather and river conditions.
5. Activities
The cacao experience is complimentary for staying guests. Other activities are optional, carry an additional cost and depend on weather, river level, guide availability and safety conditions.
6. Liability and safety
Guests are responsible for their own safety and that of their companions during the stay and any activities. We recommend constant supervision of children due to the proximity to the river. Kua is not liable for accidents arising from failure to follow the local team's instructions or negligent behavior.
7. Environment and conduct
Kua is a natural environment. We ask guests to respect the forest, wildlife, crops, staff and neighbors. Hunting, unauthorized fishing and removing flora or fauna are prohibited.
8. Pets
Pets are welcome with prior approval. Guests are responsible for their pet's behavior and for any damage caused.
9. Changes
Kua may update these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this site at the time of booking.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent jurisdiction in Colombia.
